OK guys and Chuck... I have not seen this posted on the Web yet and I got mine in the mail a while ago. Please excuse the formatting. I do not type. This what the flyer says:

Sunbeam Northwest XVII - A blast from the past.

Back to where it all began. SNW comes to you from Eugene, Oregon this summer on August 7-9 1998. Please join us - everything will be easy going, user friendly and at prices you can afford. The line up for fun includes:

Saturday:

Rallye from the motel to the Concours through beautiful Oregon countryside. Concours held in the parking lot of Valley River Center - voting will be by Popular Vote by any and all viewers - enjoy the cars, the shopping and nearby fine dining while everyone admires and appreciates your Sunbeams. Evening you will find plenty to do in Eugene to keep you busy.

Sunday:

Autocross time- all we have to do is go! We will be joining the Emerald Valley Sports Car Club that morning - just pay the entry fee and have a ball. They do all the work! Poolside Buffet will finish the weekend. A lovely dinner outside the pool - food, good company, awards and a chance to see everyone one more time.

We are working to keep the costs down and enjoyment up. Costs will be $20 or less per car (not person). Please let us know if you think you can come, so we have an idea! You are always welcome up to the last second.

Make your Motel reservations with the Doubletree Inn now. Be sure to mention SNW to get our special rates and be with us in the same area. Call 1-800-222-TREE or 541-726-8181. The Double Tree Inn is the site of SNW I, II and X

Hope as many of you as possible can make it. Any questions, give one of us a call:

Gary and Jeanne Haslip 541-344-4922 Frank and Cindy Cardiff 541-673-0573 Dave Boyd 541-385-5971

So it looks like there is an all Sunbeam event to go to in the West in 98 and I guess we need to try and support it, I have been to 3 of these events put on by the Pacific Tiger Club and they have been great events. But, as usual, most of the non- Tiger owners stay away. This is the only info I have about the event, so if you need more info, please contact the organizers directly.

For those of you in the Northwest, Bob Carpenter, Chuck Nicodemus and I will be at Western Washington All British with our Alpines this Saturday July 18th at Clise Mansion in Marymoor Park, Redmond, Washington. Maybe you will stop by and visit us. The website for the event is : www.abfm.com
