I should make clear that "Jay Laifman" (that's me) wrote the piece about Alpine owners being responsible for the success of Alpine clubs, not "Steve Laifman" (my dad). Although dad first bought my Alpine about 21 years ago, it became mine 20 years ago. He bought a Tiger 2 years ago, though is no less vocal than I. I guess it runs in the family.
