I am a member of the Sacramento United British Sports Car Club. They are a great group of people with a very active club and a true love of anything British. Cars in the club range from concourse to duct tape specials and from Morris Minors to Rolls Royces. There are currently 4 Alpines (two running and two not), one Tiger, 1 Hillman Estate wagon (being restored), and two Hillman Minxes in the club. At our annual car show in Dixon, Rootes gets its own area as we generally have a half dozen or more cars show up. I have been trying to get more of the local Rootes cars involved in the club as an outlet for Rootes activites. Seems this approach is what Curt is talking about on a local level.
