MGB

Turns out a guy right down the street from me has a 1967 MGB for sale -
wire wheels, OD, hardtop, original condition. So, I had to take it for a
test ride. I had driven a friend's 1973 MGB before, but always preferred
my Alpine. I figured maybe an earlier one would be better. Nope. Same
thing. I honestly don't know why they were so popular. I guess they do
look sporting. Maybe if I drove one around for a while they would sink in.
The Alpine does have 20 years on the MGB. So, I told him that I just
wouldn't trade an Alpine for an MGB. I mentioned that I really enjoyed a
TR3 I recently drove. So, what did he also know of? A TR3A, 50,000
original miles, original paint, interior, tool kit, etc. Now I'm stuck.
The only solution I can see it to get this TR and keep the Alpine. If only
money did grow on trees, and I was Johnny Appleseed.
