I arrived home from work tonight, flicked on the tv, and was stunned to see images of the old Rootes plant in Humber Rd, Coventry right before my eyes. I recognised it immediately having stood on the very spot three months ago.

I missed the start, but I gather it was a human interest story about how current owners Peugeot are providing social facilities for retired Rootes employees. Good on yer, Peugeot. Billy and Reggie would have been proud.

The show was "A Current Affair" in case any Aussies are interested.
