I am in the midst of going through about 30 bounced messages that have accumulated over the past couple of weeks. You will see some old messages appear on the list.
Please disable HTML attachments in your mailer software. The mailing list software rejects messages with HTML attachments and they are bounced to me. I am manually removing the HTML and re-posting the messages, but in the future I'm just going send them back to the originator.
If you are posting messages from a different mailing address than the one you used when subscribing to the list, your messages are bouncing to me. The mailing list software rejects messages from unknown posters. This is an anti-spam measure and seems to be working well; about one spam message per week is rejected by this feature.
I'm going to manually modify the addresses on the current batch of rejected messages and repost them so they'll go through, but I can't continue to do this. I don't have a way to add your alternate address to the list of approved posting addresses. The way to get around this is to subscribe to the digest version of the list from your alternate address. This allows you to post to the list from your alternate address. You'll get the one digest message per day to your alternate address, which is easily deleted. The regular messages will still be sent to your primary address, just as they are now.
A number of you have sent me direct messages over the last few weeks which I will get around to answering over the next several days. I apologize for the delay.
Thanks for your assistance and cooperation.
