If your city is listed you can get a map of the area around your home or any address in the city. You can get place to place directions.
I tried it with a couple of known addresses. The result is the directions will get you there but there were a couple turns suggested that were not the best route but it is a help.
I tried a city to city and found that it is 718 miles from Seattle to Big Sky Montana.
