I kept having this strong gas odor and couldnt locate the cause. It got really bad the last time I drove the car. Today, I got it out and removed the air cleaner to check things out. I had cranked the car and backed it out and shut it off. After I removed the air cleaner, I notices gas draining out of the bottom of the carb dripping off of the brass jet unit. I removed the unit and examined it noticint that there appears to be large o-ring near the bottom of the unit.

Question: Do I need to replace to o-ring only, or the entire unit. The spring looks kind of "gundy" also.
