Lauri,
It would make sense if the hillman flywheels were heavier, though probably not the aluminum head models.
Unforthunately your lack of torque has nothing to do with the mass of your flywheel, in fact a higher mass flywheel allows you to put full engine torque+additional energy stored in the flyweel to the ground during clutch takeup.
Search for your power loss elsewhere, the flywheel is blameless.
