Offset and Trannys

On the back wheel offset issue, you may consider posting the question to the Tiger owners who live and breath alternative wheels. I do know that rubbing on the rim of the wheel opening is a common problem for Tiger owners. The rubbing occurs at the metal edge that sticks in towards the wheel well. There are two solutions: (1) cut off the excess material or (2) bend the edge up, inside the wheel well. Both retain the outside appearance of the fender. I have heard that some choose the later one so that it can be "returned to stock" should ever the need arise.

bigger offset and do one of the above, rather than buy the smaller offset (or larger inset, depending upon how you look at it I guess) and have rubbing that you can't do anything with.

Rex mentioned the stronger shifting forks from Sunbeam Specialties. As of about 2 years ago, they were no longer available.
