This problem may have just been solved by replacing my speedometer cable.=

will not know for sure until I get a chance with a pace car. I just got =
a
new cable from SS and installed it this afternoon. The old one seemed to
have a rough movement and when it was pulled out the lubrication on it ha=
d a
that rotton smell of 30 plus year old grease so it seemed a good idea to
replace it. I just got back from a quick test drive and no bounces were
observed and it seemed to be more accurate. Now for the blasted tachomete=
r .
