Per the other post re: stuck clutch, you'll need to start the car in gear (1st gear is better) where you've got some open space to drive without having to come to a stop. (more than a few starts like this will leave you with TWO Alpines with bum starters)

Get the engine up to at least 3000 and then stomp on the gas, then sharply let off, repeatedly, every few seconds, with the clutch pedal depressed at all times. The clutch should pop free after a minute or less.

You'll have to be more explicit on the solenoid. What 'bolts' are you talking about? How do they 'slip back into the unit'? Doesn't sound like anything on MY Alpine.
