A while back I mentioned a pewter Alpine model I picked up at the Monterey
Historics.
>I came across an Alpine model in
>pewter at about 1/80 scale. It was $12, and I bought one. It was listed
on
>the box as a S II alpine, but was a S V low-fin car (I could even pick out
>the square hood and door corners). Nice detail, and RHD. They had a Tiger
>also.
I recently found the box, and have a source. The model was manufactured by
"Autosculpt Miniatures, hand made in Sheffield, England". The dealer who
sold it to me was:
Morris Manor Collections
5306 181 Court East
Sumner, Washington, USA 98390-8952
It has a pewter base cast in, and would make a great award or shelf
ornament.
