Hi all,
I checked up on the sizes available in Superlite wheels. The wheels are
only available in two offsets, which the company calls 'Front-wheel
drive' and 'Rear-wheel drive', and the rim sizes as follows:
minis?: 12x5
Sunbeams: 13x5.5
Sunbeams: 13x6
Not for us?: 13x7
Not for us?: 13x8
Sunbeams: 14x6
Sunbeams: 15x6
Not for us?: 15x7
Not for us?: 15x8
Let me know if anyone thinks they want one of the sizes labelled 'not
for us', because I want to narrow down the range before I start chasing
prices.
The spokes are available painted in one of three colours, the two which
will possibly match the original Minilite-style are grey or silver.
Christopher Albers has asked around for those interested and I think the
numbers are now settling down.
Next step is to count up total number of wheels, then approach the
company to see what sort of price we can negotiate.
