This reminds me of my 6th grade English class. Some guy, somewhat of a
loner but class clown, got up, before the teacher had arrived and asked the
class what a blow-job was. Boy, I sure had fun with the rest of the class
laughing at his foolishness for not knowing. But then, I didn't have the
foggiest idea either. Fortunately our nation's president has seen to it
that all sixth graders now certainly know what it is.
Back to Raydots, Raydots are the mirrors that Steve Alcala has on his
Alpine. I've attached a picture below [not attached, see picture at
http://www.team.net:80/www/rootes/sunbeam/alpine/mk1-5/images/alcala3.jpg].
I don't have the book here, but I
think they are also on the racing Alpine picture with Jack Brabham in
McGovern's book. They are spun aluminum and rest on a small black piece.
I've seen them most on racing Lotus' of the 60's.
