Soft Top parts

I wonder of any of you folks with parts have the small bits I am looking
for. The S IV body I am restoring came with most of the right bits, but
had an S II windshield and doors, so I am replacing them with the
windshield, doors etc from the S III which I wrote off....long story,
see photos on my home page. The S III was, however, a GT, so
consequently did not have the fittings for the soft top. I seem to have
all the necessary pieces except for the two fittings which screw into
the windshield frame, one each side at the very top, inside, and into
which the sideways pin on the end of the arms of the soft top frame fit.

My S III windshield has a slight round projection at the top of each
post, on the inside, in the centre of which is a 3/16" x 32tpi tapped
hole. I assume the fitting secures here.

While I am at it, can anyone advise, with some degree of accuracy, what
the angle should be between the main vertical post of the soft top frame
and the arms when they are rotated into proper position. I have about a
10 degree difference between the two arms on my soft top frame and I
would like to know which one to bend before I paint them. My car is
totally disassembled so I can't install it to check.

Thanks for any help
