Brad,

        You had better drain most of it off and refill with about one
litre or quart. You'll likely have some leaks into your rear wheel hubs
and brakes, etc. There should be a large plug somewhere to remove.
On the older Talbot Alpines there is a square plug on a horizontal flange in
front of the axle housing beside the input shaft.
