Ford didnt make any stickshift mustang IIs.
The Mustang II was essentially the same car as the Pinto, which
also used the optional 2.8 with AT only.
You'll be looking for a 74 to 77 Capri 2.8 with its funky german
transmision.
74 V6s have something different about them, I think its that they only have
2 exh ports instead of 3 on the 75 and up cars. The 74 engine does
use the smaller 2bbl weber, which in my opinion was supperior to the
later "larger" 2150 ford carburettor.
The year will be significant as header availability probably is very
important to the fit around the engine compartment.
