Before you go to the trouble and expense of slapping on some
italian carburettori, fixing the strombergs will almost undoubtedly
be less $$$$ and less work.

How long has it been since the CD's were overhauled?

The internal diaphragms get hard with time, and can make the CD's
nearly uselesss.

The diaphragms cost like $7 each, and can be installed while on the
car in about 10 minutes. After the new parts are in, you must perform
a jet centralization proceedure to insure that the piston and needle
run free after re-fitting the covers.

The only gripe I have ever had with the CD-150s is when the throttle
shafts and bushes get worn, they wont hold an idle. This is not a
fatal flaw as the throttle shafts are available.
