Someone, in an earlier letter, made a reference to "modine" something or
others, which I gathered from the context was a replacement core for an
old radiator or heater. Someone else then congratulated him about his
choice, saying he'd be very happy with it. I don't know what this
reference is about. Can someone enlighten me? Would it be applicable to
my 53 Sunbeam-Talbot?

You don't need to worry about it, Irv. Modine is a radiator manufacturer.
The Tigers and series Alpines have itty-bitty grille openings and teeny-tiny
radiators, so cooling can be a big problem. With the Supreme Sunbeams, we can
move through a lot more air and have a much bigger water capacity. That's why
we can get by with a 2 blade fan, while those other guys are putting in 6
blades and electric pushers and thicker radiators and other tweaks.
