Here's a Sunbeam for sale I'll pass on from the Seattle, Washington area. I
personally don't have any connection with the car, Doug just asked if I'd
post in the Pacific Tiger Club newsletter and
1965 Series IV
Sunbeam Alpine
BASIC INFO:
1500 cc engine soft top, orange color (official color is "Phoenix Porche
Red") but its more orange than red; car has 116,000 miles – original owner
had engine rebuilt at 85,000 miles; I’m second owner, since Feb 1, 1978;
Good Features:
Only 31,000 miles put on car since 1978; Solid body, very minor body work
needed; good glass; rare wire wheels (5); Pirelli P3’s;
Over $1,100 in new parts: (still in boxes)
· Brake pads
· Upper/lower ball joints, tie rods
· Complete seals and weather-strip for interior
· Carpet kit
· Professionally upholstered seats
· Battery
· Soft top
· Receipts for major work
Not So Good Features:
Car currently is not running – under cover the last 2.5 years; rust in
floorboards; right rear drum frozen; 3 wheel knock-offs missing (3 star
spinners);
While it will take some work to get it road-ready, this is a complete Alpine
i.e., no extra parts should be needed to hit the next rally.
$1950 – for the complete car w/new parts
