I guess I'll have to plead guilty to that one. I was probably replacing my
coil, which is mounted on the firewall. Looks like they got me in a
compromizing position. I had no idea my legs were so famous, or that the
Porsche guys were so interested in them. At least Ramon knows I had a
legitimate excuse for not meeting him.

The Porschefiles may turn their nose up at British cars, but they will never
know how boring it is for us non-converts to us to watch umpty-zillion
silver inverted bathtubs race each other all day long. Not to mention a sea
of them in the parking lot. The British cars racing were, IMHO, far more
varried and interesting than Stutgart's finest, and provided a real breath
of fresh air.

Anyway, the Alpine got me there and back, and is running fine now. Thanks
for the publicity alert (I think).
