I cracked a line from my master to clutch slave while rebuilding the
slave. Good thing actually, as the line was rubbing against something and
was VERY thin. Could have broken on the road. I bought some new line,
but the nuts on the ends don't screw into the master and slave. I
measured the threads on my old line, and it is somewhere between a 24 and
27 national fine. Is this whitworth? Either way, I will put the old nuts
on the new line to fix the problem.
