system designed for an Alpine.

Old cars always have their drawbacks. Sunbeams are no exception. Our brakes
need relatively frequent adjustment to the rears to work their best, and you
need a lot more peddle pressure to make 'em work, compared to modern,
'feather-touch' brakes. And if your tires and/or shocks are substandard, even
ABS might not save you.
      
But if you keep them adjusted, Alpines stop.
