Two weekends ago I pulled the engine from my Series V and have begun an
overhaul. The block is at the machine shop and I have been advised to rebore
it to +.020.
Neither Sunbeam Specialties nor Classic Sunbeam has this size [+.020] piston
in stock. Before I try Victoria British I wonder if anyone on this list has
a stash or a source?
With the drive train out I have been able to finally finish my project of
scrapping, cleaning, painting and sealing the undercarriage. No one will care
but me but I find it reassuring to have found no rust of consequence.
