In Britain at least there really were Imp police cars. Recently I stayed
with Mike Scott in Scotland who has built a replica one. These definitely
weren't intended for pursuits. Come to think of it though, 998 Imps would
have been useful for chasing miscreants in M*** Coopers. :-)
