What I have done in the past , first heat up(not red) the areas needed loose,
then spray ole WD-40 all around the fittings, on to the seams .The WD should
just bubble not smoke. Then let it set for a couple og hours Patience prevails.
then Hammer lightly with a soild block on the other side around all areas and
repete the WD. Pound and shake the h---- out of it. It all should come loose. If
not get out the cutting torch or hacksaw.My 2p chuck good luck.
oh yeh one note, I used to know a guy that had grease zerks in the tail ppipe ,
each time he greased the car ,,,,. he poped a squirt in each one ..I never saw
him have to fight the fittings.
Don't ask me ,maybe he was greasing the muffler bearing?
