Miatas

Well, I better nip this thing in the bud before it gets outa hand!

Since I'm still restoring my Series II, I drive a 91 BRG Miata. This is the limited production (4,000) model that came loaded with all the extras such as cruise-control, air-conditioning, CD, Nardi wood stuff, Limited Slip, etc.

I have soled straight through from north-central Wisconsin (after SUNI II) to central Florida 25+ hours and have done the same with my wife from central Pennslyvania (also around 25 hours). Both trips were top down all the way. What an experience. The car is near perfect, ok, it's a little down on horsepower, but other than that I think it does a pretty good job. Oh yes, please, no whining about the wind messing up you hair or you can't hear the radio...what did you buy a convertible for anyway!

I don't know how much luggage you need, but I have tried to cut back in the last few years and its suprising how little you can get along with. We had just enough room for the both of us for two weeks. We could have taken more "stuff" with us, but I refuse to load up the interior too, because in three seconds there is "stuff" floating all over the car including me. Downright dangerous.
