I can't remember which way the metal intake gasket is installed. I
thought it was metal-out/dimples-out or was it dimples-in (facing the
engine block). Also, what would I use for the lower radiator hose for my
series 1 Alpine. Has anyone researched using a domestic hose from a Ford
, Chevy, etc. (one that could be cut to fit, problem is it's about 1.25"
ID). I have used a universal hose in the past. Not many hoses are this
