I did a mockup of Design #1 last night and pinned it to a hat so you could get
an idea what it would look like in the flesh. Obviously I don't want to do
this 50 times, but don't mind helping along the design process.
I probably got the SUNBEAM too big in proportion to the rest of the design. In
order to have the address at the bottom go straight across, I have to use a
very small font. I would recommend curving the address under the design and
using a bigger font. With these changes and based on the sewing time, you are
looking at a $10 hat. If you simplify the design you can lower the cost of the
hat.
You may, however, want to have a very nice hat, don't mind spending some bucks
and may want to add the Alpine on the side of the hat and some other stuff.
Each additional location is another setup which adds about $2 per hat. I had
to take the photo inside due to the lateness of the evening so the color is
not too good. If you want to add your nickname, vanity plate, yada yada to the
back of the hat this can also be done on an individual basis.
BTW, the MG hat is a scanned photo so the color is off. The hat is really a
khaki crown with BRG bill and thread. They did not pick the stone-wash hat
because they wanted a BRG color. The stone-wash hat looks much richer.
