Hats

I'm the guy who originally posted to your list with the idea of a list hat. Someone mentioned in today's mail they would look for some hat sites. Let me explain again about my offer.

I offer a unique service to your group that differs from you dealing with a "commercial" sewing company. You decide on a List Hat Logo. You take that logo to a commercial company to be digitized. They want $75 to $100 to "digitize" your design and their price to sew the hats will only be attractive if you order 4 or 5 doz. hats up front. What this means is someone has to "front" $400 to $500 to get this project started. Then that same someone has to take your individual orders and payments and take the orders to the PO or UPS for shipment and deal with the potential loss of shipments.

Instead, I take care of the above services. I don't charge you a digitizing fee. I sew the hats as they are ordered and each list member pays me a price for the hat cheaper than if you did the above (especially when you add in the digitizing charge). My experience with the 3 other lists I have done hats for is there is a hardcore group of about 2 or 3 doz. people who will want a hat--so we are not talking about a lot of money. I also can accept VISA/MCard.

I have lots of different styles and colors of hats. I use only quality low- profile style hats with a cloth strip and metal adjuster in the back. If someone wants a baseball style, or the hat with the holes in the back, I can accomodate that also. I can also do individual orders for new list members as they come on board. This means the same someone I mentioned earlier doesn't have to go back and order some more hats when the 1st order runs out.

This is kind of a hobby/part-time business with me and I am trying to specialize in car groups on the Internet. That's why I'm "The List Hat Guy."

Thanks,

P.S. My web sites has samples of my hats and other stuff. Your list could also do denim shirts, sweatshirts, fanny packs, etc. etc.
