Hi all, I just got on line recently and quickly found my way to this service, as I've done nothing but live and breath Sunbeam Alpine since taking over ownership of my brothers 67 SV a year ago. There is truth to the saying ignorance is bliss. After some minor engine work and a major paint job I have been chasing up and down the east coast of Lake Michigan without a care in the world. Now I see by your discussions that I have need for concern regarding wire wheel clunk,low oil pressure and other problems that I had figured were merely eccentricities of my new toy . I could just see myself winding through the dunes with a stupid grin on my face as the engine seizes up and the wheels fall off , wondering what gives? But seriously, it's great to find a source of so much accumulated knowledge as I will need all the help I can get bringing my SV back into shape. I wanted to add that I searched for, located and ordered a Dr. No Alpine at ediecast(at)Idata.com which is a site that includes a company called E DIECAST. The model # is EDMT 19. Thanks Bruce.
