It's that time in Pennsylvania for storing your car and preparing for next
Spring. I wanted to send some of the parts off of my series I Alpine to be
rechromed over Winter. The first pitted chrome parts I removed were the
corner window guilds on both doors (not sure the correct name) and the
chrome pieces behind each door in which the soft top hinges (again, not sure
the correct name). When I removed these hinges, I notice that one was flat
on top and the other had a bevel. Are the designs suppose to be that way or
do I have pieces from two different series cars? Can anyone help? I'm not
sure what I have.
