Your question on "2 speed" was answered as if you were asking about the Tiger/Alpine. My error, I didn't know you were asking about the Pinto until I saw the reply.
But the same answer could apply, if the Pinto isn't. Most A/C blower switches worked the same way in those days, with even 3 speeds, and the resistors were built on the back of the switch. The switches are still available, but they are rotary, not flip switches.
