The other of that ilk is "Your Classic and Thoroughbred". It used to be two magazines, one of which was "Your Classic." IMHO that was the BEST British car magazine. It was for the British car mechanic and was a treasure trove of restoration and tech tips. In typical British fashion, they did not show you how to replace a part. They showed you how to fix the part and put it back into the car. Want to lubricate your water pump? Don't use some expensive additive. Put a "dollop" of petroleum jelly into your radiator.

Unfortunately, the circulation was too small and it was absorbed by its sister publication. I still hope they will bring it back. I have kept every issue I purchased.

Sigh!

Anyhow, I agree that the magazines published in Britain ARE much better than their cousins published here in the States. I shall hit the newsstands today.
