I might have a possible alternative to towing. Depending on how many
people/vehicles, and their point of departure, it may be possible to lease a
railroad car from private owners and hook up to Amtrack lines. This is done
quite often by private companies for various types of meetings.
The advantages would be a social, financial, chronological and physical. With
enough participants it would be less expensive than renting a motorhome.
