Be prepared to pay top dollar for pot metal work if you want it done right. Many chrome shops won't even touch it. I encountered that a lot in my search for a shop. It takes longer than other metals and is more prone to have pits. Pot develops air pockets in the metal over time and it is nearly impossible to eliminate them without first coating the pieces with brass. This process is very time consuming and very expensive. I had to forego that in doing my pot and it is painfully obvious on my door handles, full of pits. But that's the way it goes. It was either pay $20/handle or $60/handle. I knew I wouldn't make it to Pebble Beach, so I went budget.
