I've never heard of Alpines being assembled in France. What is the
alphabetic code after the chassis number? Left hand drive export cars are
usually LRO. Left hand drive CKD (completely knocked down) cars should be
XRO.
Have you tried emailing the French Sunbeam club? They're bound to know.
