Chris...you already forgot that Herbeam was built from a shell that was on 4
milk crates in the middle of a field in Lemon Grove....she was put together
from parts of cars that were already gone...leftover parts.... Herbeam could
be made original again very easily...I still have the original rear end,
pedals, gear shift tunnel cover , motor mounts etc. The only thing missing
is about 1 " of floorpan on the left side of the transmission hump where it
was widened to accomodate the C4 automatic.....The clutch pedal, brake pedal
and original trans will fit back in perfectly.. All I have to do is ordered
a remanufactured 1725 from Mr. Goodwrench and she;ll be as original as new
