Ditto.
I bought a timing chain 'kit' (chain and tensioner) from them several years
ago. Seemed like a great deal at the time. How could they screw something
that simple up? Two years later I had an engine ready to install them on.
However, there seemed to be way too much slack in the new chain. Turned out
it was for a Triumph. Again, too late to get a refund or exchange.
On the plus side, the N.O.S. 1725 oil pump (on sale then at $19.95) has worked
fine.
They're better now than when they first started selling Sunbeam parts (the
woman answering the phone back then didn't even know what a Sunbeam was, let
alone if they sold parts for one), but that still isn't saying much.
