Well I do.
I bought my Alpine as an abandoned restoration from a family friend. When I
bought it it was stored at a garage run by another family friend. Upon
arriving to collect it I was somewhat disgruntled to find that a light
fingered #$$%% had made off with some of its badgework. Worse the grille was
nowhere to be seen either. I assumed the same thief had taken it and it was
lost forever.
Fast forward eight and a half years. The Alpine is almost finished but I
still haven't done anything about acquiring a grille. Today my father called
in to see the garage proprietor. He said he'd been having a clean up and
found something Russ might want. Lo and behold he produces my grille!
Oh happy day! After eight and a half years my Alpine and its grille have
been reunited. Sorry to bore you guys but this one really made my day.
