I replace all the front end bushings, ball joints using a big vise. This
works if the old parts are not too stubborn coming out. While I had all
the parts out, I had them fine sand blasted and then painted them flat
black (also did all the steel wheels). The finished product came out
looking very nice.

Doing front suspension:

What are good sources for ball joints, tie rod ends and bushings? What
about urethane bushings? Any Canadian suppliers would be helpful, due
to
pathetic exchange rate these days.

Has anyone had any success removing and replacing the link bushes
without
using a press?
