Does the Tiger have the same wheel bolt pattern as the Alpine?
I must confess that I am contemplating the incomprehensible, buying
from Victoria British.
As some of you may know I attempted to broker a group deal to purchase
Superlite wheels from the UK. Being ignorant of such dealings, I had
an offer of help from a fellow lister on the East coast to handle the
deal. Well, I've not heard from him in months and have become
discouraged to the point that I have begun to consider what I said I
would never do. And besides, the enormity of what the deal entailed
was just too much for me to handle alone.
VB is now selling a 14x5.5 wheel (which they list for the Tiger) for
$139.00, as opposed to their regular price of $169.00. I've seen these
wheels on Triumphs and MG's and the owners were quite satisfied with
them and they appear to be very nice. And I'm guessing that I'll only
be paying about $20-30 more per wheel that I would have had our deal
been realized.
What size tire can be used withthis wheel?
Any opinions on my predicament? I must confess I feel badly about
abandoning the deal.
