Listers - there's been much talk lately about the need for posting authentic
paint chips on an Alpine website.
THE WAIT IS OVER. Visit www.sunbeamalpine.com and check out the Series 1
section. Continue checking the other sections today and over the weekend -
they should all be done by Sunday. Ian is working very hard to get them to
match the original paint chips as much as possible. Keep in mind there's no
way to get these 100%, but it's close. I found I had to adjust my monitor -
some of the colors like Carnival Red looked too dark originally. Hopefully
in the end you will have a useful set of chips to give you an idea of what
the car should look like.

On another note, all the various registries are up and running and I
encourage you to enter your car. This is different than others available on
the web in that you can actually see the other cars entered. Owner's names
of course will not be shown to protect privacy.

Lastly, production dates by chassis number will eventually be appearing once
the format is set, so check periodically as new items are added to this site
almost daily.
