Subject: 1965 Monte Carlo Rally
I was watching Speedvision last night (the only channel my TV seems to
be on) and they had 3 episodes of Legends of Motorsport. The first one
was about the 1965 Monte Carlo Rally. They followed almost the whole
race with cameras inside and on the side of the Rootes works Tiger. With
narration provided by the navigator. Another added bonus was coverage of
the second Tiger and both of the Imps. That year was a great success for
the Rootes works team with both Tigers and both Imps placing in top
spots. I am trying to track down how to get copies of the show. My VCR
has developed a taste for video tape and will eat anythig I put in it,
so I could not record it. Kurt Eckert

I tuned in this morning and got to see some great footage! The show runs
again Thurs at 3pm,930pm and for you late nighters at 130amFri.EST. I
noticed something about the interior of the Tiger. The chrome horn ring
is painted black from the center out to the ring .Is that normal? The
paint on mine was peeled off so badly that I thought th PO must have
customized it with a cheap can of spray paint-so I peeled the rest of it
off to expose the chrome. If it is supposed to be black , is it flat
black?

P.S. Where can I see an image or diagram of an SV engine, specfically
the routing of the heater hoses? One of mine goes up over the top of the
valve cover which doesn't seem to be a very orderly way to go. I looked
in my owners manuals and shop manuals but found nothing.
