A pcv valve is good for you and good for the environment because not only
does it help to keep the inside of your engine clean...it lets the engine
burn the blowby instead of letting raw polutants into the atmosphere. I
experimented with different pcv valves and found one that worked well on a
series V but it was so long ago I can't remember what the application was. A
screw in one that is quite similar is found on the 2.6 V6 on the 73
Capri...you might try one of those..or if you have an original it can be
cleaned..My seriesIII I just sold had a PCV I believe..ask Kurt Eckert
