I would like to know the answer to this question as well. When I bought my
III GT it had the pancake style filters (suitable for filtering out small
birds). I now have the real GT canister setup.
Also, what are your plans for the filter element itself? I assume we can't
just go down to NAPA and ask for a Series III GT air filter.
