Typical! I've always wondered why companies do this. I wonder if you could
press this a bit claiming false advertising. It's clearly listed in this
half off catalogue with no caveats as to limited supply.

I just tried to order this thing and apparently it is out of stock, at
least that's what I was told. They took my order but could not
guarantee delivery at the sale price.
