The napa 1302 is indeed the oil filter for series III's. They come with 3
various base gaskets and one can be used on the alpine. The correct assembly
of the filter assembly consists of the tube with tightening nut on top, a
small rubber seal under the nut area, the canister, a round rubber sealing
ring, a thin flat washer, the spring, a thick washer, the filter. Hope this
