Wheels.....My 2 Cents worth

Hey gang,
As for the wheels Tim was asking about, well, you need to look at the
offset before buying. I'm a Ford nut, and a friend had a old
T-bird(mid-'80's), it had 7" Mod style wheels on it. Same bolt pattern
as the Alpine. Wow, try them out he said, well, looks good until I
tried to turn the front end and bent the fender. So, aftermarket chrome
wheels are out for me. The fender was O.K., just pulled it back. The
Alpine on Vb has late model Mustang wheels on it. The tires must really
be small to clear the wheelwells.
Just my 2 cents worth. Does anyone have some old headlight rings to fit
a Series V? I don't have any at all, and haven't seen any in the
catalogs. I don't care if there bent a little, just so long as there
the right ones and I can fix them. As for my Series V, it looks alot
better clean. No leaves and trash in the floors now. Got to sit in it
for the first ime, and WOW, lots of leg room. Can wait to get it
running and drive it with no top.
